In a written communication to Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, sent on August 25, British High Commissioner Michael Arthur said “there are no such concerns with Jet Airways who remain welcome to fly to the UK.” He also said that he had checked the speculation over UK’s security concerns about Jet Airways from “responsible authorities in London” and found them baseless. “Indeed, we have always found them cooperative and Jet has met the security measures that we require,” the High Commissioner stated.
