AAI to finalise consultants for non-metro airport development soon

New Delhi: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) will shortly finalise consultants to assist it in the selection of private players for modernisation of city side of select non-metro airports.
Already the evaluation process of 'notice inviting tenders' (NIT) from leading infrastructure and financial agencies by the AAI and the shortlisting would be completed shortly, the official added.
As per the Government plans, private players would take up the modernisation of the selected non-metro airports either on a stand-alone or cluster-of-airports basis, he added.
AAI will also invite cost bids from the shortlisted bidders for appointment of consultant(s), who will undertake the documentation and all associated work required for issue of Request For Proposal (RFP) for selection of JVC or PC for the selected non-metro airports, he added.
