Bangladesh airline to fly to New Delhi

Dhaka: Bangladesh's only private airline, GMG Airlines, plans to add three new destinations to its network, a top official said on Sunday.
"We are going to start flights to three new international destinations, Kathmandu, Bangkok and New Delhi from October 20, 2006," Managing Director Shahab Sattar told Reuters.
The airline started domestic operations in 1998 with two Dash 8-100 and one Dash 8-300 aircraft. It extended operations to Kolkata in eastern India in late 2004.
GMG will operate the new routes using two Boeing MD-82 aircraft, Sattar said.
The airline will initially operate two flights to Kathmandu, five flights to Bangkok and three flights to New Delhi in a week, Sattar said.
