Government pushes for airports development

The Government today said there was no financial constraint for the development of airports in the country.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the new integrated terminal building, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel said people throughout the country were demanding airports in their regions.
He declared that the ministry is committed to upgrading and developing the airports in various parts of the country.
According to him, the ministry was contemplating upgrading various aiports in Karnataka, including Belgaum, Mysore and Hubli. He urged the state government to make efforts to provide the required land for such upgradations.
