More than 100 passengers bound for Kozhikode in Kerala were stranded in Doha for more than 17 hours, starting from the early hours on Thursday following the grounding of Indian’s Bahrain-Doha-Kozhikode flight.
The flight was scheduled to leave Doha at 1 40 am. Sources in the industry attributed the grounding of the flight to some "technical problems". The passengers, including those who came from Bahrain were accommodated in some hotels in Doha. The flight, however, went to Kozhikode late in the evening yesterday.
