Plane returns to airport following bird hit

Vadodara: A Delhi-bound Indian flight with 90 people on board returned to the airport this morning shortly after take off following a bird hit, the Airlines sources said.
All the 83 passengers and seven crew on board the A-319 aircraft, were safe, the sources said.
Flight number 817 was hit by a bird after it took off for Delhi in the morning, they said.
All the passengers were later flown to Delhi by a Mumbai-Delhi flight, which was diverted to accommodate them.
