New Delhi:Delhi International Airport (P) Limited a subsidiary of the GMR Infrastructure is set to bring in international brands and premium car rental agencies to set shop at the airport for the comfort of passengers.
DIAL has awarded a duty-free shopping contract for the Indira Gandhi International Airport to Alpha-Pantaloon Consortium today, signing a Rs 500-crore contract.
The consortium, promises to bring international retailing standards to Indian airports.
Henceforth, passengers will be able to choose between brands such as Armani, Gucci, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, Nike, Swatch etc.
DIAL has tied up with Avis Mercury Car Rentals to provide premium car rental services to and from the Delhi airport. The company will also be extending a self-drive facility.
