New Delhi: Have you ever seen a jackal on the runway?
The pilot of a Jet Airways Indore-Mumbai flight spotted one at Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport this morning as he was preparing for take-off. As the pilot brought the plane to the runway at 9:30 a.m., a jackal sprang up at some distance catching him off guard.
The pilot aborted the take-off which led to a 25-minute delay of the Mumbai-bound flight, airport sources said.
