Air India Express prepares for take-off from Bahrain as manager appointed

Air India Express, the low-cost version and subsidiary of Air India, has appointed a new country manager for Bahrain and Jordan as it prepares to launch here on January 11.
D Debesh is a senior manager with 27 years' experience with Air India and was its manager-airport and customer relations in Bahrain since April last year.
He succeeds M N Naik, who has returned to India.
Initially, Air India Express will operate seven flights a week, with four to Kerala - Cochin, Trivandrum and Calicut - and three to Mumbai.
