Bangalore’s aero show sets sky as the limit

New Delhi: The sixth Aero Show 2007 is all set to wow spectators, as participants from across the globe are preparing to mark their presence in the aviation industry. US majors Boeing and Lockheed will put up their largest-ever presence in an Indian event, with displays including F-18s and F-16 Falcons. Competing closely with its American rivals, EADS and Dassault is expected display its EC 725 twin-engine, mid-range Super Puma (11 metric tonne class), search and rescue Naval Cougar and Fennec, said defence ministry officials.
The show, organised by the department of defence production, ministry of defence, in association with Ficci and Farnborough International Ltd, will be held between Feburary 7-11, at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bangalore.
The event will host over 500 leading companies in the field of military and civil aviation and space, aerospace and airfield upgradation.
