Air India inks deal with Alteon

Mumbai: Air India on Friday signed an agreement with Alteon Training, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company.
Alteon will deliver a Boeing 737NG and Boeing 777 simulators to Air India’s facility in Mumbai. The agreement was signed by Capt. P P Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Air India Charters Ltd., and Ms. Christina Bohl of Alteon. The simulators will be used primarily to support the operations of Air India Expres.
The new Boeing 737NG simulator is scheduled to arrive in Mumbai by the end of November 2006 and would be installed in Air India Operations building and certified by the end of January 2007.
