Indian launches online check-in

Thiruvananthapuram: The nation's leading carrier Indian has commenced online check-in facility for those proceeding from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to destinations within the country as part of its efforts to make checking-in hassle-free. The `i-check-in' facility being offered by Indian is available 24 hours on all the days. Passengers having e-tickets have begun using the facility from Friday, a senior official of the airline told The Hindu .
The `i-check-in' facility would close two hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. It will help save time for the passengers, increase productivity, avoid interface with the airline staff and help the airline offer seamless service to the passengers.
Restricted to passengers holding e-tickets, dial-a ticket, net ticket, Bird and Fly tickets in the domestic sector, the holders of these tickets can select the choice of seats for flights departing either on the same day or the next day.
