Air India Express flies to Trichy

Dubai: For the first time, Air India Express will operate direct flights from Dubai to Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) in South India, thrice a week.
Beginning today, Air India Express will fly non-stop to the temple town on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Trichy flight will terminate at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The Dubai-Trichy/Chennai will depart from Dubai International Airport ( Terminal-2) at 5.20 p.m. and land in Trichy at 10.55 p.m IST. The same flight will depart from Trichy at 11.55 p.m. and arrive in Chennai at 1.05 a.m. The flight toDubai will leave Chennai at 11.40 a.m., arrive in Trichy at 12.50 p.m. and land at Dubai Interntional Airport at 4.20 p.m.
Trichy is Air India Express’ 10th destination from Dubai. Now, Air India Express will operate 45 flights a week from Dubai and Sharjah to 10 Indian destinations.
