Air India jet grounded in Frankfurt after passengers molest women

Frankfurt: An Air India jet abandoned its take-off from Frankfurt Airport in Germany after two male passengers molested a female flight attendant and two women passengers, police said Friday.
The two men, both aged 40 and described as being of Indian origin, were in police custody after Thursday's incident. The plane was taxiing towards the runway in preparation for take-off from Germany's biggest airport. The plane departed for Delhi about an hour later.
Police said one of the men had first seized another male passenger by the collar and shook him hard. When the flight attendant intervened, the offender touched her private parts. The other offender then touched two women passengers in the same fashion.
The men may face a bill for 30,000 euros (40,000 dollars), the extra costs to the airline and the airport because of the delayed take-off.
