Air Deccan passengers will have to wait longer for refunds on cancelled tickets. The low-cost carrier has decided to upgrade its reservation system and the pending transition refunds will be delayed, reports CNBC-TV18.
CNBC-TV18 has received several complaints from Air Deccan passengers who have been waiting to get refunds for months. In a written response to these complaints, Air Deccan said the company is migrating to a new reservation system and therefore its booking and cancellation engines have slowed down leading to some disruptions pertaining to refunds.
For passengers this may mean more wait. But hopefully with the new system in place the number of complaints will come down as well.
