New Delhi: Air Sahara airlines may be on the block, but not Brand Air Sahara. The Sahara group plans to retain the brand and continue to use it for its commercial helicopter services.
The group has four helicopters, of which two are positioned in Lucknow and the other two in Amby Valley. Other than in-house use by group executives and guests, the group has been leasing out the eight-seater copters for commercial use.
Analysts say Jet would not have much use of the Air Sahara brand. Incidentally, Jet too has not expressed any intention of owning the Air Sahara brand.
