New Delhi: An Air Sahara aircraft today landed under emergency condition, bringing the carcade of Nepalese Prime Minister G P Koirala to an immediate halt.
Airport sources said the pilot of the aircraft informed the Delhi Air Traffic Control that he suspected that one of its tyres had burst after which all measures were kept in place for the landing of the plane, which was coming from Ranchi.
Sources said the aircraft, which was scheduled to land at 1735 hours, finally touched the ground at 1811 hours, forcing the carcade of Koirala, who arrived here to attend the SAARC summit, to wait for several minutes.
