Mumbai: Private broadcaster Sun TV is planning to foray into domestic and international aviation services both for commercial and non commercial purposes in the country and outside.
The company would seek shareholders' approval for its plans to enter the aviation sector through postal ballot, the result of which would be announced on May 15, Sun TV informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company is planning to have aerial conveyance for transporting passengers, freight and merchandise on national and international routes, it added.
Sun TV also intends to operate and provide chartered domestic and international aviation services, along with scheduled services both for commercial and non commercial purposes in India and outside, the company said.
