Deccan an attractive investment: Gopinath

Mumbai: As the dust settles on the Captain Gopinath versus Vijay Mallya controversy now the good captain is finally coming clean on just what he has planned for his airline.
There is no dearth of suitors willing to pay the big bucks for a piece of the Deccan action and the airline is sitting pretty and smug.
Captain as he is fondly known in an unplugged mode admitted to NDTV about the need for money to run the airline. He is thrilled that Deccan has many suitors but he will not accept the second best.
He admitted that due diligence was on and a partner was needed but did not hint at who that partner could be, however an announcement is expected in about two weeks time.
"Today Air Deccan is like the bride every one wants to marry. It is flattering to know that many plan investing in Deccan. Deccan is an attractive investment for many players," said Captain G R Gopinath, MD, Deccan Aviation.
