Air Deccan dominates the Southern Skies

Air Deccan India's first and largest low cost airline dominates the Southern skies with the largest number of flights operating in South India. There are 350 daily flights and 65 destinations on the Air Deccan network today, out of which 95 daily flights and 19 destinations are within South India itself. These figures are the largest amongst all the airlines flying in South India. These statistics include flights only within the South and do not include flights going out or coming from other regions.
Air Deccan which began its operations with its first flight in the south (Bangalore-Hubli) continues to grow in the region. Air Deccan not only has excellent load factors in the four Indian southern states but also flies to many cities in the south where no other airlines fly like Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Tuticorin, Hubli and Bellary amongst many others.
Air Deccan flies to 3 destinations in Kerala, 5 in Karnataka, 6 in Tamil Nadu and 5 in Andhra Pradesh with an average load capacity of 80% and above.
