DJ Aqeel released after being quizzed for drug possession

Dubai: India's leading disc jockey Aqeel, who was detained at the Dubai airport on Tuesday for allegedly possessing drugs, was released after hours of questioning.
Aqeel had gone to Dubai for a radio programme.
His wife Farah Khan informed the reporters that Aqeel was scheduled to undergo urine test on Wednesday.
She said Aqeel did not use drugs and "somebody must have planted" the contraband in his bag.
Aqeel's wife said 0.4 gms of 'ecstasy' drug was found in his bag.
He was then taken in by the anti-narcotics cell which tested the DJ's blood and "he was completely clean", she claimed.
Farah said no consumption of ecstasy was found and Dubai airport authorities dismissed the case which went back to the police at the airport.
Aqeel, who was travelling alone, was subjected to a body search by Dubai airport authorities.
