'Indian' voted as NRIs favourite airline

Chennai: A consumer poll conducted by the Emirates Post has chosen ''Indian'' as the most preferred airline of the Indian expatriates living in the UAE.
The airline has won the award against stiff competition from Air India, Emirates and Air Arabia, according to a release here today.
The poll was conducted by the UAE's Postal Department to understand the customers choice in various products through voting by e-mail and SMS from April one, 2007, with more than 1,000 respondents participating in the poll everyday.
Apart from Emirates Post, the voting was also conducted by INDISH Creation and Asia Vision Dubai with the support of Radio Asia (1557 AM and 94.5 FM), the most popular radio frequency in Dubai.
