New Delhi: Private budget carrier IndiGo has inducted its 10th Airbus A-320 aircraft into its stable and will buy five more by the end of this year to take its fleet size to 15, the airline said in a statement Wednesday.
IndiGo will operate the new A-320 to connect Nagpur with Delhi and Pune and the same aircraft will then continue its service to Bangalore. With this aircraft, the airline will operate 70 daily flights to 14 destinations.
The airline, promoted by Gurgaon-based travel trade and aviation firm InterGlobe Enterprises and former US-based airline executive Rakesh Gangwal, eventually intends to induct 40 aircraft and fly to some 30 Indian cities by 2010.
