Mumbai flights delayed

Mumbai: Flights of national carrier `Indian' were delayed by at least an hour after many of the employees did not report to work due to the national strike called by their union.
"Eight out of ten flights since morning have taken off and we are operating our flights. Officers who are not part of the strike are manning the various vacant posts in order to ensure that our flights continue," a spokesperson for Indian told PTI.
However, the spokesperson said that flights were operating with a delay of an hour or more.
