PM forgets to send goodwill message

Islamabad: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh forgot to send the traditional goodwill message to his Pakistani counterpart Shaukat Aziz while flying over Pakistani airspace both on his way to Berlin and on returning to India.
As per the established tradition and norm which is practised the world over, whenever a head of state or government flies over the territory of another country, he/she sends a goodwill message to his/her counterpart.
However, on June 6, Air India One, with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on board, entered Pakistani airspace at around 11.45 am and it took the plane almost 40 minutes to pass through the Pakistani airspace on its onward journey to Berlin. Surprisingly, no such message was conveyed from Manmohan to Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
Similarly, on his way back to India on June 9, the same Air India One entered the Pakistani airspace at around 7.15pm and after remaining in the Pakistani airspace for around 30 minutes crossed over to Indian airspace. But, again, there was no such message relayed by the Air India One.
