Boeing raises projection of India's aircraft requirement

New Delhi: American aircraft major Boeing has raised its projection for India's aeroplane requirement, saying the country would need 911 new aircraft worth over $86 billion over the next two decades.
Last year, India's requirement was projected as 856 aircraft at a value of $72 billion, Mr Dinesh Keskar, Senior Vice-President (Sales), Boeing said here today. In its latest forecast, Boeing has said that India would need at least 53 more twin-aisle aircraft.
