Floods: Passengers complain of lack of info

New Delhi: Many flights that managed to take off from Delhi had to be diverted to other stations and wait for ATC clearence due to waterlogging at Mumbai runway.
Consequently, Spicejet had two flights waiting at Hyderabad and another one at Ahmedabad for several hours before they could take off for Mumbai.
However, the age old complaint of airlines not providing correct information to passengers cropped up again this time. Bhavna Bhatia and her husband were to catch a flight to Mumbai about 3.30 pm but only after they had checked in were they told that their flight had to be cancelled.
Amandeep Kahlon and Sukham Randhawa from Amritsar, who were to be in Mumbai by Sunday morning, waited at the airport till late evening before they were able to catch another flight at 8.30 pm.
