Mallya to rechristen Air Deccan

Mumbai/Bangalore: All eyes especially in the corporate world are now on what the final brand will be as Mallya weaves his magic on Air Deccan.
Sources have told that a new brand with 'King' as a prefix for Air Deccan operations may be introduced soon, which Captain Gopinath is obviously opposed to but when asked the Captain says that there is no such plan.
Clearly, the task to integrate is huge, something that the Captain doesn't deny and even admits the differences are arising off and on.
For now, the integration process has made some progress. Kingfisher Airlines-Deccan group has renewed its fleet insurance managing a big discount.
Vijay Mallya and Captain Gopinath have jointly met aircraft and equipment suppliers. A special team is looking at supply chain and logistic management and optimally utilising the airport resources including manpower.
