Kolkata: A private chartered flight from Bhubaneswar, with a passenger suffering from a renal problem on board, made a priority landing at the NSC Bose international airport here on Wednesday.
The aircraft was cleared for landing by the authorities after a request for a priority touch down was received in the afternoon, Airports Authority of India sources said.
The patient, 75-year-old S Patnaik, was examined by the airport Health Officer S Banshi and other doctors and immediately rushed by an ambulance to a city hospital.
