Israel will take part in a project to develop the city of Nagpur in India. The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute estimates Israeli companies to win contracts worth $40 million related to the project.
In addition, project managers from India plan to acquire equipment and technologies and cooperate with Israeli companies for several projects in Nagpur, including airport development, transportation infrastructure, communication infrastructure, large scale agricultural projects, medical centers, hotels and more.
Representatives from India visited Israel recently as guest of Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute and the Indian embassy in Israel, and met with some of the Israeli companies planned to take part in the Nagpur project.
