Deccan to restructure charter business

Bangalore: Deccan Aviation will look at hiving off its charter business, that is the official word from none other than Captian Gopinath.
While it is not clear at the moment under what name this new entity will operate, going by the recent re-branding exercise at Air Deccan this division too could have a kingfisher association.
"We are studying how to grow this business not only for corporate travel but for infrastructure in 2-3 months, may not be listing immediately but everything is possible," said Capt G R Goinath, MD, Air Deccan.
According to Captain Gopinath, this restructuring could happen in the next three months, once that is through, the helicopter business is exploring the possibility of forming a JV with French Aviation Co SCE to explore business opportunities in mining and geo physical survey including aerial mapping.
