CBI arrests Indian Airlines official for graft

New Delhi: A senior Indian Airlines official was arrested Friday for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.15,000 from a cargo agent at his office in Bangalore, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said.
"S. Parthasarathy, traffic superintendent (cargo), was arrested after he demanded and accepted a bribe money of Rs.15,000 from a cargo agent for allowing his goods through the morning flights of Indian Airlines to Delhi, Kolkata and other destinations," a CBI official said here.
The CBI also recovered some incriminating documents during searches at the official's residence.
