GIL's net profit after tax at Rs 141.34 cr

Bangalore: GMR Infrastructure Ltd (GIL), India's infrastructure bellwether company, posted a net profit of Rs 141.34 crore for the first half year ended September 30, 2007, up 4.47 per cent over the same period during the previous year.
The net operating revenues stood at Rs 871.90 crore, up 20.80 per cent over the same period during the previous year, said G M Rao, Group Chairman announcing the results of first half year and second quarter ended September 30, 2007 on Thursday.
On a consolidated basis, GMR Infrastructure reported a 26.96 per cent rise in gross operating revenues to Rs 1062.84 crore in the first half year period of HY-2007-08 compared to Rs 837.13 crore for the corresponding period of last year. This revenue for the period includes income from the Delhi airport which stood at Rs 413.99 crore.
