GoAir to increase flight frequency to JK

Srinagar: GoAir today announced to increase the weekly frequency of its flights from J&K from 18 at present to 39. The increased operations shall take effect from the commencement of the new winter schedule from October 28.
The airline through Srinagar airport will operate nine flights from Srinagar to Mumbai, six flights from Srinagar to Delhi, and two flights from Srinagar to Jammu. From Jammu airport we will be operating 9 flights from Jammu to Mumbai, 6 flights from Jammu to Delhi and 7 flights from Jammu to Srinagar.
A spokesman of the company in a statement to Greater Kashmir said the increase in flights in J&K is slated to commence during the winter.
Giving details the statement said the airline was operating 18 weekly departures from J&K. Following the roll-out of new frequency plan in the region, the flight operations are expected to double.
