MDLR Airlines to launch Delhi-Jaipur flights

Jaipur: Gurgaon-based MDLR Airlines is launching air services between Delhi and Jaipur six days a week, beginning Oct 15.
Jaipur would be the sixth destination in MDLR's network. The company will fly a four-engine jet aircraft with six business class and 64 economy class seats.
The company at present operates flights between Delhi, Ranchi, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Jodhpur.
MDLR recently purchased two helicopters, which will be used as private charters.
As part of its expansion plan, MDLR is planning to set up a flying training academy. Nupur Mehta, vice-president, corporate affairs, MDLR Airlines claimed that the academy would be first to be equipped with latest training aids, including simulators. 'It would be functional by March 2008,' she said. Besides this, the company intends to launch a heliport in Gurgaon near the national capital.
