New Delhi: In a shocking lapse, three reported Bangladeshi passengers — whom their country allegedly refused to accept and sent them back to Delhi — managed to escape from IGI Aiport recently. The security agencies are on the lookout for these passengers.
About two weeks back the three had took an Air India flight from Dhaka to Muscat via Delhi.
"On arrival in Muscat, they were sent back as their papers were not in order. Later, when they were sent back to Bangladesh, there also, they were not accepted and sent to Delhi. These people were staying at IGI airport's international transit lounge while the airline was pursuing them matter with authorities concerned," said an official.
Then on November 7, they shockingly managed to sneak out of the airport and enter Indian soil without any legitimate papers. " The airline had lodged a complaint with the local police and investigations are on," said a senior official.
