Kingfisher Airlines wins prestigious WTM Global Award

Indian airline Kingfisher has been presented with one of twelve prestigious World Travel Market Global Awards at WTM’s VIP Opening & Reception on Monday 12 November. Dr Vijay Mallya, Chairman and CEO received the Award from World Travel Market’s Chairman, Fiona Jeffery.
WTM’s Global Media Network, comprising key travel industry media around the world, were invited to nominate companies who have made a remarkable contribution to their region’s travel and tourism industry.
Nominated by India’s leading travel trade publication Trav Talk, Kingfisher commenced operations in May 2005 with a brand new fleet of aircraft. It currently operates more than 70 flights a day providing the Indian traveller with ‘full service at true value’ with in flight entertainment, extra wide seats, and gourmet meals as well as facilitating doorstep delivery of tickets.
