Pilot abandons flight

In an another classic case of air passengers being left stranded, an Indian flight from Jaipur to Kolkata was aborted on Sunday (Nov 25) just before take off as the flight captain refused to stand up to his duty as his duty time was over.
The incident happenned in the IC-269 flight from Jaipur to Kolkata. The flight, which was scheduled at 8.15 pm on Sunday (Nov 25) finally took off at 10.30 am on Monday (Nov 26) morning -- a two hour journey that nearly took 12 hours, thanks to the pilot.
As a result, the passengers were at the receiving end and waited for hours at the airport. Though, they were taken to Ashoka Hotel later, there too, the chaos ensued as no formal reservations were made by the airline.
TIMES NOW repeatedly tried contacting the airline, however, no reaction was forth coming as none of the officials were available for comment.
