India Aviation safety week at Deccan

Panaji: Deccan, India’s first low-cost airline, is currently observing `All India Aviation Safety Week.’ The safety week will conclude on December 16.
The safety week, which will be celebrated under the aegis of directorate general civil aviation, will focus on enhancing awareness about passenger safety across all 65 airports of Deccan.
During the week several surveillance checks will be carried out in the air and on-ground, pilot engineer meetings will be held at all 8 bases of Deccan. Minimum possible AOGs and MELs on all aircraft, states a press release issued here.
To create awareness about safety posters will be displayed at various airports of Deccan and within the company in all departments.
