'Thrown out of airport', passengers blame airline

Mumbai: The passengers traveling by private airline Go Air alleged harassment at the airport on Thursday night and claimed the airline officials got them thrown out of the airport after denying them their seats on a flight.
After the Go Air flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad was repeatedly delayed, the passengers were reportedly told that they would be accommodated on another flight from Rajkot.
While some passengers were put on board the Rajkot flight, 24 others were left behind at Mumbai airport.
Go Air officials insist that the airline ground staff had made an announcement for these passengers, but no one responded.
The passengers deny this and say they were thrown out of the airport when they protested. “Even though we have boarding passes, they left us behind. The flight left and though we paid Rs 3,000 for a ticket, we were thrown out by security and airline staff,” said one passenger.
