AAI invites fresh bids for developing Udaipur airport

As per latest reports, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has now decided to re-invite Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the city-side development of Udaipur airport. The area available for commercial operation and maintenance of the airport at Udaipur is set to increase from the earlier estimate of 11.43 acres to 50.93 acres of land.
Last year, when the initial RFQ was invited, at least 10 leading industrial groups are known to have shown keen interest in participating in the project. According to official sources, the applications received earlier will be considered along with the fresh ones.
