IndiGo, the low-fare domestic airline that is redefining airline quality standards in India, has taken delivery of its 15th brand new Airbus A320 aircraft from Airbus in Toulouse, France and has started operating this aircraft to commence additional daily flights from Delhi to Chennai and also return on the same route January 4th onwards.
With its 15th aircraft, the airline now operates 108 daily flights connecting 16 destinations, including Agartala, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara. IndiGo plans to serve approximately 30 Indian cities by 2010, with a fleet of approximately 40 A320s.
