Jet Airways flight from Doha by January end

Doha: The inaugural flight of Jet Airways, India’s premier private sector airline, from Doha to Mumbai and Kozhikode, is not likely take off on Saturday, as announced.
Though there is no official word yet, indications are the flights would be delayed until the end of the month.
Early last month, the airline confirmed that it would launch services to Doha with 14 flights a week – daily each to Mumbai and Kozhikode.
The 14-year-old airline, the first Indian private carrier to fly to the Gulf, also had announced plans to fly to Kuwait and Bahrain, and possibly to Oman.
According to the latest indications, the Bahrain and Kuwait services will be launched on January 5, as scheduled. From Kuwait, there will be daily services to Kochi and Delhi, while Bahrain will be connected to Kochi and Mumbai, with daily operations.
From Muscat, there would be daily service for Kozhikode and Kochi, when launched. Operations from the UAE to India too are under consideration.
