The Republic Island of Maldives will resume international flights with state-run Island Aviation Services due to fly to the Indian city of Trivandrum later this month, officials said.
sland Aviation Services (IAS), a domestic carrier, will operate daily schedule flights from January 25, using a turboprop DeHavilland Cananda 'Dash8' aircraft between Male' and Trivandrum, the company said, Monday.
The Maldivian Civil Aviation Department Director General, Mahmood Razee Monday formally handed over the later of approval to IAS Director, Bandhu Ibrahim Saleem at a ceremony at the Nasandhura Palace Hotel in the capital of Male.
