Qantas fuel surcharges on India flights to rise by $20 to $165.

Air travellers will pay more for tickets this year after higher fuel costs prompted Qantas Airways Ltd and its subsidiary Jetstar to increase the surcharges on their international fares.
The new surcharges will come in to effect for tickets booked on or after January 17.
National carrier Qantas will increase the surcharge by $25 to $210 on flights to the United Kingdom and Europe.
Surcharges on flights to the USA, Canada, South America, South Africa and India will rise by $20 to $165.
The fuel levy on flights to Asia, Pacific and Honolulu will be $15 dearer at $120 - and the surcharge on a ticket to New Zealand will increase by $10 to $70.
Qantas executive general manager John Borghetti said the increase was in response to record fuel prices, from which jet fuel is derived.
