AFL Dachser, the joint venture between AFL Cargo and Dachser GmbH & Co. KG, has successfully completed one year in February 2008. The strategic venture, which was formulated a year back has shown some exciting developments and has paved a new model in the global freight forwarding industry.
Operating on a unique business model of 50:50 partnership, one of its kind in the industry, the company has witnessed strong growth in the very first year of the venture. The company has not only met but also exceeded its ambitious targets. Over the last year, AFL Dachser has offered customized services to all its customers across the globe through its widespread domestic (36 locations) and international (256 locations) network.
The company continues to beef up its national and international network in the coming year as well as invest in technology and IT infrastructure to support the planned expansion and anticipations.
