IBS Software signs deal with Jet Airways

Bangalore: IBS Software, leading provider of IT solutions to the global, travel, transportation and logistics industry, on Wednesday announced signing of deal with Jet Airways to provide IT solution for its crew management.
The solution, Avient Crew, will help Jet Airways scale up to manage the increasing complexity of its crew operations. It will improve crew productivity through pairing and rostering optimisation and reduce disruptions due to absence of crew, V K Mathews, Chairman and CEO, IBS told reporters.
Jet Airways has become the first Indian customer for IBS, whose current clientele outside the country include, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, South African Airways.
IBS also announced the inauguration of its 12th global centre at Bangalore. "The centre will be our third in India following the two at Trivandrum and Cochin", he said.
The company plans to expand to become a Rs 1000 crore company by 2010.It also plans to set up its own campuses at Cochin and Kozhikode and another development centre at Chennai.
