Thick fog delays morning flight arrivals at Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Morning flights from Bangalore and Mumbai were delayed for nearly two hours, due to thick fog prevailing in and around the city, airport sources said.
The landing of the flights--Air Deccan and Kingfisher from Bangalore and Spicejet from Mumbai--was delayed due to heavy mist over the airport, the sources said.
Though the passengers were put to hardship for some time all the flights landed around 9 am, the sources said.
