As India-bound air passengers face the threat of delays due to a strike call given by employees of Airports Authority of India (AAI), various airlines here said they have not been advised to take any precautionary measure.
A Doha-based senior manager of Air-India told Gulf Times last night the airline had not been advised to take any precautionary measure in view of the indefinite strike call.
He said the other national carrier, Indian which was being merged with Air-India, was expected to operate its scheduled flight to Kozhikode early this morning.
A Qatar Airways’ spokesman also said the national carrier was expected to fly to all its eight destinations in India as scheduled.
