Flights on schedule in Mumbai

Mumbai: Flight operations were normal and per schedule here as the agitating airport authority of India employees called off their strike.
"Operations at the airport are functioning normally and the flights are on schedule," a spokesperson for Mumbai International Airport said here on Friday.
The strike was called off on Thursday night after the government assured the AAI employees that in future no more airports would be closed down without consulting them.
The two-day stir had failed to make any impact as the authorites ensured that there was no disruption of services.
